I sewed the uniform out of two skirts (the brown fabrick remained when I shortened one skirt I showed you before, in April of this year) and sleeves of a denim t-shirt. I like the unconventional combination of unusual colours and the composition of the fabrics, as one normally would put the brown part between two burgundies, not above them both. I´m so proud of this dress, my own design! I´m going to wear it as much as possible this Autumn.
I bought this t-shirt from H&M - it will be my first shirt with text since year 2000 xD I wanted to buy it over two months ago, but I thought I hadn´t quite decided whether I love the album or not. I like the logo of course, but I couldn´t buy the shirt just because of its appearance. It is the same as with Iron Maiden t-shirts - they are awesome, but I don´t particularly like the band, so I can´t wear their t-shirt. After all, it should all come down to one idea, music.
Anyhow, I have listened to this fine album a lot lately, and now I´m sure I like it enough to wear the shirt. Yipe!
skirt: flea market, shoes: Ecco
Doggy rucksack: charity shop
I just love this backbag! I call it Rekku-reppu - it makes any outfit complete.
Bracelet, ring & necklace: charity shop
I was on a shopping visit in Helsinki yesterday and the day before yesterday, and oh, that splurge! I spent 2,70 euros: 2,50 for sunglasses and 20 cents for the fantastic 90s jewellery above. Well, I did buy Bridget Jones´s diary dvd and a bag for my grandma (a very, very belated Christmas present), but they won´t count, for I´ve been looking for them for so long time now.
Oh, and finally - of course I had to put this here. Listening to the vinyl alone at night like in these pictures is much more wonderful, though...
I found simply perfect denim shorts in a take-here-please-thanks box again. Nowadays my wardrobe is simply deluging with lovely dived clothes and jewellery, I wonder if my outfit will some day be 100 % refuse.
Today I only made it up to 80 or so, for the belt is from H&M, swan ring is a gift and shoes are Jeffrey Campbells. Rest is however, as I said, a treasure once hidden into the skip.
I haven´t bought new clothes for such a long time! Since I´ve only worn second hand - old clothes which I do like, but which are rarely actually exactly what I want -, it feels extraordinary to have a piece of new clothing, a piece I´ve bought just because I love it so much. The shirt costed only 10 euros - and because it´s H&M, a thousand other people will have it, too-, but I don´t really care, because it´s so perfect. I just love the print! And it also suits the landskape ;)
Shirt: H&M
fur jacket, earrings: second hand
The pictures above are a little bit older than the pictures below, so the scene looks a bit different. Isn´t it wonderful, how the snow changes - and the colder it gets, the paler the sunlight turns?
Haha, it seems I´m standing in front of a stretching mirrow
velvet circle skirt: mom´s old
grey sweater: flea market
I´ve been looking for a plain grey or black cardigan at flea markets for two months now, and I´m so thrilled now that I´ve finally found one! It was surprisingly troublesome - the candidates were always either too expensive or filled with cable patterns. Yesterday however, when I wasn´t even looking for it, it popped up while I was selling clothes with my friend at Vallila flea market. It was perfect! And it costed only 50 cents.
So, finally some really beautiful photos (meaning quality - the model leaves a lot to be desired), thanks to my mother and her million-euro-camera, which is well worth of its price ;) Remember to enjoy the magnificent colors of the fall!
