I bought this t-shirt from H&M - it will be my first shirt with text since year 2000 xD I wanted to buy it over two months ago, but I thought I hadn´t quite decided whether I love the album or not. I like the logo of course, but I couldn´t buy the shirt just because of its appearance. It is the same as with Iron Maiden t-shirts - they are awesome, but I don´t particularly like the band, so I can´t wear their t-shirt. After all, it should all come down to one idea, music.
Anyhow, I have listened to this fine album a lot lately, and now I´m sure I like it enough to wear the shirt. Yipe!

I was on a shopping visit in Helsinki yesterday and the day before yesterday, and oh, that splurge! I spent 2,70 euros: 2,50 for sunglasses and 20 cents for the fantastic 90s jewellery above. Well, I did buy Bridget Jones´s diary dvd and a bag for my grandma (a very, very belated Christmas present), but they won´t count, for I´ve been looking for them for so long time now.
Oh, and finally - of course I had to put this here. Listening to the vinyl alone at night like in these pictures is much more wonderful, though...
I´m sorry but I can´t find ´u´ with Umlaut from my keyboard. I think it is still quite obvious where I have visited. Two days ago I returned back home, after mostly but not wholly unsuccessful journey, during which I explored two cities in Western Germany, Essen and Dusseldorf. Now I swear I won´t leave Finland for anything for a while. Well, I know we planned to go to Sweden after 10 days. Maybe I have had my time to settle down till that...
I think Essen was a lot like Lahti (not a compliment), the town of my previous upper secondary school. Naturally it had some attractive spots - Kaiser Wilhelm´s park, for instance, was pleasantly spacious and peaceful. Dusseldorf, on the other hand, looked interesting already from the train - there were hilarious graffiti, like huge, realistic monkey head, everywhere on the walls and fences. When I actually got to know it, I liked it even more. There were sharp office blogs but also softer and more ornamented old quarters, and verdant parks in the centre. I liked also Königsallee, despite of its branded shops for the rich and the powerful, and I liked observing the people walking by me there in their shining shoes. I spent some time reading the book "Der Zauberberg", The Magic mountain by Mann, in a lonely outcrop of a park near centre. A perfect moment.
I visited Lindau of Southern Germany shortly with my father previous weekend, when my father had a amateur radio fair at Fiedrichshafen. It was really nice, but now I have to admit I am kind of tired of traveling. Next thursday I have to travel to Germany again, because of the qualification exam for Bachelor of arts, dance education at Folkwang university in Essen. I really don´t feel at all like going! I also don´t feel too confident about my dance skills right now. I´m almost certain I won´t be accepted.
I still have to go and try - to dance is something I just have to do. Even though nobody else would think I should, I know I must. I once read about a successful choreographer who first was not appreciated by the people around her, and felt uncertain about her capability to dance and create movement. Afterwards she wrote:
Anyway, I decided, that no matter what, I wanted do dance. Nobody could stop me, it was my decision.
And she danced.
From one thing to another, here are few (very few!) photos of my trip, which was mostly spent on rented wheels. Our trip took four days, but we still had time to visit not only Germany, but Austria, France and Luxembourg as well... Rather efficient.

Yep, I love colors - I had to add some orange to my mini dress, for black-and-white is simply not my thing. This is how to wear mini dress and see-through fabrics without revealing too much. My perfect outfit for humid mid-summer days :)

I congratulate myself for unconsciously bringing together seven different summer 2012 trends: midi, neon (the orange looks bright enough for me), transparency, pleats, ethnic prints (the bag, the dress), delicate accessories (the shoes, the bag, the pendant) and the fifties (my glasses XD). I really didn´t plan this, you know...
My hair looks messy but also oddly red, I guess it is because of the sun.
I really like the colours of these update photos. The green is so intense, the blue so fresh. And everything is completed by the orange. Orange orange orange.
