... denim, cat, denim

I´m so in love with denim right now! Ok, I know, I´m a little bit late - denim with denim dates back in spring 2010 - but I just couldn´t help copying the look from the collection of Chloe. So a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.
Just in case someone should think the pictures with our cat Roskilde aka Roskis are artificial: I didn´t make him to jump on my knees.  He just wants to be part of everything :) And he looks so ugly in these pictures! Would you believe if I told you he was a cute little scandinavian tiger in real life?
Interesting to see which animal is going to disturb our filming next time... One of the sheep I´d guess.

... leaves like copper

While I was choosing the pictures I realised I have my old hair showing here. Feel free to judge me for not being chronological with my clothing updates :D I´ll try to maintain the order from now on.
I´m really satisfied with this outfit, though it has the colour combination I´m not so fond of: black and brown. I just can´t resist anything from the 90s, especially with an adorable extraround below the neckline! I found the trousers, which I sweetened by dyeing them black, in a take-here-please-thanks-box in a flea market.
It´s curious how people just dispose of perfectly good clothes.

... Kate Bush

One of my earliest loves is the mesmerizing, strangely beautiful voice of iconic Kate Bush. She is only singer in the world I´ve ever really considered my idol. Wish I could both sing and look like she did in the age of 17! Actually I have my mother to thank to get to listen to her even before I could talk. I probably wouldn´t like her music this much without the early exposure to it ;)
Oh, and  I have to emphasize her huge influence on the pop music - I mean, who wouldn´t remember her adorably weird dance with the cello in Babooshka, back in the 80s? She was, and still is, the underground Madonna, with million times more talent. And I think she still beats Lady Gaga in peculiarity - watch the Wuthering Heights video!
I guess only imperfection in her music is that it has a certain component of some kind of shamanism, which I´m not so keen on. Well, nobody is perfect.

... ballads for November

I don´t know why I love everything that´s dreary and melancholic - I guess it´s because that is how life is here in the middle of Northern nowhere. To put it bluntly, I believe life is grey in autumn regardless of where you live. There is just something about the farewell of the previous season of blossoms and bright sunlight.
To not to sound too glum, I have to admit I still love november, for two reasons in particular.
First: I have my birthday on 28th of november
Second: November gives me a great excuse to watch music videos with bowling grannies in them. Yeah!

If someone is puzzled by where this music comes from, I can give you a tip: there is no better place to kill time and reach musical civilisation than Spotify. I often search music randomly with a keyword or move on to artists related to my favorites.

... orange, blue, Mickey Mouse

As you´ll probably notice when you look at these pictures, I´ve dyed my hair - and yes, we have a henhouse in our barn. The white warrior with a crest is Jalmari, who decided to interrupt our filming session. I´m so glad it is tame. Usually.
So, I´ve started wearing my winter clothing - even though this november is almost the warmest of my lifetime. I just can´t wait to use my new old rose fur imitation coat any longer! I have few dressing principles, but I´ve discovered that you can keep warm with sheer tights and short skirt or shorts if you just cover your upper body properly. (Fake) fur coats on, everyone!

Er, a little bit egoistic pose.

I really like this picture, and Mickey is idiotic in just a right way!

Jalmari approaches...

I think she is Adalmiina. Paisti is much dappler.

Love the design of the 90s!
