... Germany

I visited Lindau of Southern Germany shortly with my father previous weekend, when my father had a amateur radio fair at Fiedrichshafen. It was really nice, but now I have to admit I am kind of tired of traveling. Next thursday I have to travel to Germany again, because of the qualification exam for Bachelor of arts, dance education at Folkwang university in Essen. I really don´t feel at all like going! I also don´t feel too confident about my dance skills right now. I´m almost certain I won´t be accepted.
I still have to go and try - to dance is something I just have to do. Even though nobody else would think I should, I know I must. I once read about a successful choreographer who first was not appreciated by the people around her, and felt uncertain about her capability to dance and create movement. Afterwards she wrote:
Anyway, I decided, that no matter what, I wanted do dance. Nobody could stop me, it was my decision.
And she danced.
From one thing to another, here are few (very few!) photos of my trip, which was mostly spent on rented wheels. Our trip took four days, but we still had time to visit not only Germany, but Austria, France and Luxembourg as well... Rather efficient.

Bleak. So bleak.

On our way back to airport (the River is Mosel).
For these grey pictures and the weather here in Vesivehmaa: some depressing music, there you are.

... black-and-white... and orange!

Yep, I love colors - I had to add some orange to my mini dress, for black-and-white is simply not my thing. This is how to wear mini dress and see-through fabrics without revealing too much. My perfect outfit for humid mid-summer days :)

mini dress: My firend´s old (Monki?)

transparent skirt, bag: flea market

shoes: flea market

amber pendant: my grandma´s old

Juhannusruusut, Burnet roses, blossomed exactly the right time this year  (during the mid-summer festival, Juhannus).

Neffi seems to be about to meow xD

I congratulate myself for unconsciously bringing together seven different summer 2012 trends: midi, neon (the orange looks bright enough for me), transparency, pleats, ethnic prints (the bag, the dress), delicate accessories (the shoes, the bag, the pendant) and the fifties (my glasses XD). I really didn´t plan this, you know...
My hair looks messy but also oddly red, I guess it is because of the sun.
I really like the colours of these update photos. The green is so intense, the blue so fresh. And everything is completed by the orange. Orange orange orange.

... ballads for June

It´s summer, but the songs don´t turn any happier, vice versa. Hmmm....

Well, to not to be too somber, here is something (little more) cheerful:

... Corfu

I have been silent now for a week or so, but it has been for a good reason: I was on a post-graduation holiday with the money I got for present at the party. It was simply wonderful to have a week in a country I´ve never been before to do whatever I want! I spent half of my vacation on bike, getting to know the area surrounding my hotel at Kassiopi, and half walking and driving by bus to more distant spots. The nature was beautiful, though the flora could have been less thorny (my legs look as if they were clawed by a minitiger). I spent long times wandering down "public" footh paths, where I never saw anyone else, looking for a lonely strand (or an abandoned house, but didn´t find any). Being on a holiday in a tourist trap like Corfu has its benefits: If you have any energy at all, you can find a path and walk for 15 minutes, and voila, you are free from the crowds. It is always like this: average tourist doesn´t have the courage nor the inventiveness to really explore the country, so they spent their vacation hanging about on the beach where there are five english-speaking  ice cream bars, two tourist information centres and three rent-a-car enterprisers for ten square metres.
Anyhow I took some pictures, which I thought would show you the Corfu of my holiday. Hope you like :)
